You wake up on a beach in the South of Spain. It's evening, and as the waves crash softly against the shore, you hear people laughing in the distance. A warm Mediterranean breeze gently greets your face, and you look up to see a flock of sea birds fluttering overhead. As the sun begins to set over the horizon, you hear a faint melody emerge from the nearby town. The melody captivates you with its profound warmth and beautiful color, and you find yourself moving toward it. As you approach the steps up to the town, you hear the melody grow stronger and richer, and you begin to run in the fading light. The music gets louder and clearer, and you get closer, and then, it suddenly disappears.

You open your eyes, and everything has changed. You're not in that town, there are no more sea birds overhead, the crashing waves have ceased, but the twilight sun remains, and that melody returns, now clearer than ever.

People begin to appear all around you. You notice tables and chairs, food being served, children playing,  and you realize these people around you are your friends and family. You realize where you are. You're in your own backyard.

​

You glance over to the corner, and there I am, playing that melody on my guitar, decorating the twilight with beautiful Spanish music.
